The Assurance of God

If you are been a Christian for a while, who prays and reads your bible you would know that there is an assurance when you trust and believe. We know this is truth based on the promises from the Bible and the experiences that every Christian will experience when they obey and trust in God’s will for their life.

Today I want to share some of these assurances you have in Christ today as you believe in Him and know that he cares and loves you today.

Do Not Be Anxious

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7

Before I was a Christian, I used to be very anxious about my daily life. I not sure if you can relate to that as well, but as a new believer, I did not understand the concept of assurance in God until you really experience the peace that only Jesus can give.

Jesus said that when you are anxious, do not worry but instead seek Him in prayer with thanksgiving and let Him know your request is made.

When you pray, you must believe and know that God will listen to every request you make no matter how silly or stupid it sounds.

God’s peace will surpass all understanding, so always be on your guard on your hearts and minds what you are thinking and focus on your mind and thoughts on Jesus so that He can provide you that peace today.

You Are Assured Through Christ

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. – John 3:36

The great big thing about being a Christian is our assurance in our salvation in Jesus that is something we take it for granted how great this gift can be.

When you believe in Jesus, you are assured eternal life as it was promised by Christ but sometimes we miss out the second part of this promise mention above

It says we are to obey Jesus than you will see life, or the wrath of God will remain in you.

Christians tend to dismiss the part of obeying God and obedience starts from knowing the word of God, praying with Him and spending time to do things for God.

The issue is not many Christians even read the bible today or even want to spend time praying to God, so I pray as you read this you be convicted to want to know God in a personal way to transform your life today so that you can have that assurance in God today.

Remain Steadfast In Christ As He Will Assure You

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. – James 1:12

This is a hard one for many Christians I believe, because most Christians do not have the patience today to even remind steadfast in the Lord today

By the way this trial is not the same problems you have today. The Christians who were reading this at that time were facing life threatening trials that they can loose their life just for believing in Jesus.

So as they face through trials for the sake of the gospel, only then will they receive that crown of life that the bible promises.

Be assured today when you act in love and do things for Christ sake, you are blessed so steadfast in your faith in Jesus today.

According To His Will He Hears Us

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. – 1 John 5:14

When you pray God hears! Amen? This is the confidence you can have in Christ is that when you ask anything that is according to His will, we know we have what we asked of Him today

The issue today is many Christians ask for sinful and selfish things that is not part of God will.

For example, Christians love to ask for more temptation of greed of more money or blessing which contradicts God’s will

It’s a sin to be greedy or selfish in your fleshy desires and God won’t honour them. That is why you do not receive

God’s will has always got to do with helping others it wasn’t designed for self improvement unless what many preacher proclaim today sadly
