In the bible there are many verses that inspire us to be just like Jesus here are 10 great inspirational quotes from Jesus Christ.

1. About Treating Others

“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. (Matthew 7:12)

2. Ask And You Shall Receive

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-10)

3. Jesus The Son Of God

Then the high priest said to him, “I demand in the name of the living God—tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”
Jesus replied, “You have said it. And in the future you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (Matthew 26:63-64)

4. God Is Love

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)

5. Do Not Worry About The Future

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (Matthew 6:34)

6. Love Your Enemies

“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? (Matthew 5:43-47 )

7. Warning To Rich People

“It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Luke 18:25)”

8. About Faithfulness

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.’ II Corinthians 5:7

9. Judging Others

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37

10.Faithful Believers

“Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”John 20:29

Know the Lord Jesus Christ – His name is originally from the Hebrew word Yeshua. With just HIS name, we will all know that he is the Messiah of Israel. However, the many did not believe this. Jesus Christ is the word turned to flesh. He is the Son of God. Who was He truly? Was He just some ancient who told tales of being a King of the heavens? Was He the one who brought everything to life in the world?

Have you ever wondered what Jesus was like when he was still on Earth? What was it like to walk by His side? The bible told all about the extraordinary and glorifying things that he had done on earth. Now is the time to pick up the holy book. Let us read, know, and put in practice the righteous deeds that He had done.

As Christians, we all believe and experienced all the blessings and gifts that Jesus gave us despite our wrongdoings. Now is the time to let others know the never ending and always forgiving Love that God has for each and every one of us. As His children, we should be more aware of what He has done for us. We should understand more about the things that He did because knowing is just not enough.

All our lives, we tried to know and love God more. We even sometimes write and list down all of His Glory. But, have you ever thought, what about the things that I have done for Him? Is it enough to show Him of my faith? Am I making a connection with Jesus? Knowing, sharing, and loving Jesus is our first step to learn to accept and heed the forgiveness of the Lord from all the wrong things we’ve done. This is the way to stay with Him on judgment day. This is the way to be content and truly know what we should do and need in His incredible gift to us called life.

For God so loved the world, he even gave us words to live by. He gave us guidelines that we should follow, so that in the end, we shall rest in His arms.

1. A life full of wondrous things is given to us as a gift from God.

Here, is the verse that shows us the Love the Lord has for us:

“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NIV).

Here, is the verse that shows the Blueprint that the Lord created for our lives:

[Christ speaking] “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” [that it might be full and meaningful] (John 10:10).

It has all been constructed for us by God himself. To heed His words is all we have to do. Why do we doubt Him at times? The reason is clearly due to:

2. We, as a person, have flawed and detached faith in the Lord. As a result, we have not yet received the fullness of the Blueprint of our lives created by God.

Here, is the verse that shows how man’s faith in God is flawed:

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

He shaped us in His spitting image. The reason He created us was to walk in his footsteps. People as we are. We want to put first our personal inclinations in life. We forget that this life we are living is a present from God. We have the Lord, Jesus, who only wants us to have the best in this world He created. In the end, we sway from His teachings and entertain what is wrong. As a result, we get our faith in the Lord flawed.

Here, is the verse that shows how man’s faith in God is detached:

“The wages of sin is death” [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23).

In this figure, you can see how the Lord has all the glory. Then, we can see us as flawed beings. We are exceedingly detached from God because of this reason. The arrows show how we try hard to reach for God’s greatness every day of our lives. We all want to receive the fullness of His love and blueprint for us. In the end, as sinners, we fall back to where we are.

How are we ever going to patch things up with God?

3. God gave us His only son. Jesus Christ saved us from our own sins. The sacrifice He made for us has brought us the capability to receive the fullness of God’s love. Through this, God gave us the capability to receive the blueprint of our lives uniquely made for each one of us.

Jesus died on the cross for the sake of the world.

“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”(Romans 5:8).

Here, is the verse that shows that Jesus walked again on earth after His death:

“Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures…He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that, He appeared to more than 500…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-6).

God gave His Only Son so that we may be brought to His everlasting Love.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.”(John 14:6).

In this figure, you can see how the Lord still did the work to reach for us. That is how much He loves us. He even gave us Jesus, His only son. God let His only son died and suffer to save us from the sins we have committed and make us renewed Christians.

This is the reason why knowing the Lord is not still not enough to give back.

4. The first thing we need to do is accept God into our lives. This is the only path to understand Him fully and be a full Christian that is the heir to God’s Love.

Here, is the verse that shows the result in accepting God

“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

Accepting God while on earth means accepting Him through devotion

“By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).

Devoting our lives to the Lord means we are renewing ourselves as unflawed beings that will serve Him

(Read John 3:1-8)

Even at this moment, God still does the work of calling us individually as His children to return to His arms

[Christ speaking] “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).

In the process of accepting the Lord, we are giving our whole being to Him. This means we are forgetting our dark past and renewing our old ways to make up for our shortcomings. The true meaning of knowing God is not only agreeing with what the bible says but also with having the personal connection with the Lord Jesus Christ. We accept the Lord through loving Him with our might and then, we may be able to walk on His path as His Children who wants to be what He eagerly wants us to be.

Here, is a fact. There are three different types of Life as a Christian.

Natural Man

( one who has not received Christ)

“A natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised” (1 Corinthians 2:14).

Carnal Man

(One who has received Christ, but who lives in defeat because he is trying to live the Christian life in his own strength)

“And I brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to carnal men, as to babes in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still carnal. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshy, and are you not walking like mere men?” (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).

Spiritual Man

(One who is directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit)

“He who is spiritual appraises all things…We have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:15).
From the three, which type of life do you lead, as a Christian?

Renewing your whole being means changing for the Love of God. Which life do you think God wants us to have?

Here, is how we can be full Children of the Lord:

Now is the time to accept God through connecting with Him in our own personal way. How do we do this?

We communicate with God through whole-heartedly praying to Him

Even with a silent prayer, the Lord knows already what we truly feel inside. Here, is a short yet sincere prayer that we could always pray to the Lord to accept and feel Him more as True Christians:

“Jesus Christ, our savior, I need You in my life. Thank You for saving me from my own sins. Today, I am opening my life to You dear Lord. I am accepting You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for giving me the fullness of life. Be the king of my life my Lord. Mold me to be somebody that walks with in Your path. May Your will be done unto me.”

If today is the day that you want to accept the Lord, then this prayer would surely tell God how you want to be renewed as a Christian with full devotion to Him.

Years ago, I got married and within a few months, I conceived. It wasn’t planned but still I prepared myself emotionally that I was going to be a mother. But 6 weeks into the pregnancy, my baby didn’t develop, there was no heartbeat. Basically I had a miscarriage. That was the most painful time of my life and perhaps was the most challenging. I cried a lot, though I didn’t blame myself nor God, I did wonder why it happened to ME!

Whenever I came across pregnant women during that period of time, I would wonder why others could have a successful pregnancy but not me! I used to think that miscarriage at the early stage of pregnancy wasn’t such a big deal. I mean, think about it, it’s only a few weeks! Surely there couldn’t be such a strong attachment and bond towards that baby right? WRONG! I was so wrong. In fact, the moment I knew I was expecting, feelings of love and attachment towards that child are formed and that baby was as real as any physical baby to a mother. Continue reading »

“Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone – an image made by man’s design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him (Jesus) from the dead.” Acts 29-31
